Tonight is quiz night! Not in a noisy pub, but in the comfort of George & Christine‟s living room! The hosts will supply nibbles and some drinks, but please being along your own preferred drinks if you wish. This event is open to all members and any potential newcomers are also welcome along. Tee off is 10.45am prompt for a leisurely round of nine holes. Tonbridge has a challenging par three short course, ideal for beginners and more experienced golfers alike. Small greens, bunkers and interesting shots over water prove a great test. Cost £6.50 per round, plus small additional fee for golf club hire. This is followed by a trip to The Humphrey Bean (Wetherspoons) in Tonbridge High Street for Sunday lunch. Please book in with the organiser in advance.

Tonight is an evening out in Sevenoaks for a change. The Oak Tree is a lively but sophisticated and heritage-focused venue in the town centre. This is simply a social evening, ideal if you just want to come along for a chat and drink amongst friends. An hour of leisurely badminton matches, suitable for all abilities. We play short badminton matches on a rota basis, so everyone can play with different partners and opponents throughout the evening. Just bring a racket, suitable footwear, a drink and yourself. Newcomers are always welcome. The cost of the court will be split between those playing on the night, normally no more than £3 per person. Pre-booking is required, and please always check with the event organiser beforehand for any unavoidable cancellations, due to limited court availability.

The Oriental Buffet offers an amazingly diverse menu featuring over 50 dishes from all over the Orient, including China, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal and India. The relaxed buffet format allows diners to sample as many delicious dishes as they please, including a healthy salad bar and an unhealthy dessert bar. This is an all-you-can-eat buffet, with unlimited return trips to the buffet bar, all for a fixed price of £11.95 (plus drinks). You might want to skip lunch and wear stretchy pants! Join your fellow IVC’ers for a bite to eat at Wetherspoons! Tuesday night is steak night, with a great variety of steak dishes on offer, including the gargantuan mixed grill. Or you can choose from the extensive pub menu, ranging from English pub favourites, curries, pastas, vegetarian dishes and light bites. If you don’t want dinner, then you are welcome to come along for just a drink (or a sneaky pudding). Meet by the back bar. Please let the organiser know if you are coming in advance. Don’t forget, that any member wishing to host their own birthday meal at Wetherspoons on a Tuesday night, will be entitled to a free birthday meal courtesy of West Kent IVC – please contact your activities co-ordinator to book your own birthday event on the club programme.

Following 3 successive sell-out concerts at Trinity Theatre in 2011, Paul Dunton will be continuing his popular 'Local & Live Sessions' this Spring. The shows feature a selection of headline acts from Paul's highly revered 'Local & Live Festival' and Grey Lady Music Lounge roster’s all performing on the same bill. 8pm – The Paul Dunton Orchestra, 9pm – The Good Ship Band, 10pm – Burning Shapes (headline). Tickets cost £10.
